Lost at the TCA Press Tour
by Jacob on Jan.12, 2010, under The Tail Section
Today Cuse, Lindelof and most of the cast spoke at the January press tour of the Television Critics Association, and there were a few interesting snippets of info, but not a lot. As expected, the cast and writers are extremely tight-lipped about what exactly is happening in the final season, though we were promised that some new footage will be released at some point before the episode airs.
Continue after the jump for more details:
-In addition to all the names previously announced to return, you can now add Michael and Libby!
-Regarding Libby, Cuse claimed all our questions will be answered, while Lindelof promised they wouldn’t. I hope Cuse is telling the truth. The other day a co-worker asked me what is the one unanswered question I most want answered, and it’s: what the heck was Libby doing in the nut house with Hurley.
-The final season will pick up right where season 5 ended, whatever that means

Lost’s Premiere Stays Put
by Jacob on Jan.10, 2010, under The Tail Section
You can breathe easy now: the White House has announced that President Obama’s State of the Union address will not be held on February 2 – the same night as Lost’s final season premiere.
While they won’t confirm when the address will be held, they did acknowledge that some groups have lobbied to keep the speech away from February 2. “I assume it’s a big deal at ABC,” said press secretary Robert Gibbs.
In response, Carlton Cuse vowed through Twitter that he’ll answer any Lost-related question the president has. Fingers crossed the president does ask something – and he tells us those answers…

Greg Grunberg confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that his ill-fated Oceanic 815 pilot, Seth Norris, is returning for Lost’s final season. “Well, with [the show], they go back and forth in time so you have no idea when and where the last season will take place,” he said. “I may get eaten all over again!”

by Jacob on Jan.07, 2010, under The Tail Section
Still counting down the best moments from the show’s major characters, we get to Desmond. Look back at his adventures in different frames of time, as he fights nosebleeds and destiny for love. That sounds cheesy, but you can say his intentions go along that route, too.

New Lost Promo Photos: Locke is Jesus Christ?
by Jacob on Jan.04, 2010, under The Tail Section
Judging from the new set of Lost promo photos ABC released, it seems that way. The group photos are out, and it is more than inspired by da Vinci’s painting The Last Supper – only with the show’s main characters sharing a Dharma-stocked dinner with Locke, who takes the role of Jesus Christ.

On the second photo, five characters moved places: Miles, Claire, Hurley, Ben and Sun. Surely that means something, right?
